Jumat (8/9) pagi ini, sejumlah aliansi masyarakat menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan kantor Kedutaan Besar Myanmar di Jakarta.
Kepolisian Sektor Metro Menteng telah bersiaga dibantu aparat dari Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat dan Polda Metro Jaya. Ada 3 aliansi masyarakat yang telah melayangkan surat pemberitahuan menggelar aksi di depan Kedubes Myanmar dengan perkiraan massa mencapai 700 orang.
Skema pengamanan tetap memprioritaskan keamanan di sekitar kantor Kedubes Myanmar. Namun, jika eskalasi demo meningkat, tidak menutup kemungkinan akan dilakukan rekayasa lalu lintas di sekitar Menteng.
